I bought a SDHC card a while ago and tried to add some music from my itunes to the HDD. The folder name appears but it says there is no music in the folder and wont play anything!
Can you not add music from itunes or cds?
If so how do you add music to it?
Cheers

You need to make sure the iTunes files are in MP3 format :santa:

It also depends on the firmware.
SDHC support was only on the later firmwares. Early ones would only support upto and including 2Gb.
-
Assuming that you have gone into the Music folder to copy the MP3s onto the card.....
dragging from itunes won't work....
And also assuming that they are MP3s and not AAC etc.....
Good luck

Which firmware supports the SDHC cards Hedge?
I've not tried a SDHC card as I've only got a 1GB and keep having to move seperate bits of music across.

Its the latest one. Its 2xxx. Not really sure of the full number. Someone will know.
Thanks for your replies!
Yep all my music in itunes is AAC. Can I convert it to MP3 and then put it on. Also is it possible with CD's to do the same so I dont have to carry them in the car?
I have the latest firmware and its a 8Gb SDHC card but that works fine as I have put a couple of songs on there with it.

Ah it will be 2660 :scared:
Dont want to risk bricking my unit and I'd also have to fork out for a new CAN gateway as mines a 2007 reg.

26xx is good and supports SDHC. :happy2:
You will need everything in MP3 or in some cases WMA for it to work.

Convert em all to MP3 - AAC wont work (IIRC)
CDs will also be fine...in MP3 format.
