Title: RNS 510 DAB Version
Post by: Tr0nic on October 23, 2015, 11:04:36 pm
Hi Guys !
I've finally decided that my RCD300 should go and make way for a nice RNS 510 with DAB+ and an SSD !

I'm doubting between the 1T0 035 686 E or F version ... (even an H version but I can't even find it on ETKA !  )
F should be slightly newer then E ?

Found them on ebay, priced like £650 for E and £880 for F version.

HELP :driver:

Can't find much information about what the differences are, what the best choice is !  :happy2:

If anyone can help me see it a bit clearer, I would be very grateful  :drinking:
Cheers !

Seems expensive. I paid £439 for an R SSD but without DAB.

Chasing newer and newer versions is pointless,  did that with standard 510,  3 different versions made bugger all difference,  now have 686c dab,  so no ssd but still no difference to my oem b version I started with,  yes the screen is led back lit,  do you notice,  not one bit,  just get cheapest dab you can as in 3 months they'll be another 100 new versions as vw pump them out left right and center changing the letter on the end for little pointless reasons

dont forget that you will also need an aeriel convertor cable as the 510 has a different connector
