Post by: Lartman1970 on October 24, 2015, 08:44:38 am
Hi.  I have a standard Gti on an 06 plate-  question is what remap is best ?  Revo? R?

R-Tech are very good. Revo also, but pricey.

Just from following the feedback from who has done it with R-Tech, if I had the chance, I'd do it there as well. Pity I'm not nearby in the UK.

I've had lots of remaps on different cars; AmD on a 1.8T, morebhp on a PD etc, and out of them all the R-Tech Stage 1 on my GTI has seen the best improvement in performance. It's just so nice to drive, really torquey.

I wouldn't usually spout on about certain brands/companies being better than others like some on here frequently do, but in this case I'd comfortably say that R-Tech are at the top of the game.

Various options on maps.. Were a Revo dealer and run Revo on my GTI..

Stage 1 they will all be very much the same as all other remaps however delivery will be different.
