Title: DSG - sloppy nob

Hello All,

Not long had the GTI and it's been 5 or more years since I had a TT with DSG so can't recall how the 'box felt  :surprised:

I have no rotational play as has been described in other posts, rather the positions just aren't particularly well defined?  Moving from P through to D etc just feel sloppy, not the clunk I would expect which causes me to monitor the dash to make sure it is in gear.

Is this normal or is it indeed age related - car is a 2006 with 64k after all.

Not really sure mate. We've two DSG's in this house and slightly higher mileages too. Both cars give a pretty decent "feel" between each choice on the selector. Not sure if that really helps you much :smiley:
