How much should I be paying for r32/s3 brake setup.
I've seen an s3 setup front and rears for £400 Calipers, carriers, lines, discs and pads in good nick although I will probably fit new ones unless they're really good condition.

Front and rear for £400? Bite his hand off, fronts are usually £300-£350 and rears are £250-£300ish

I thought they were cheap tbh!
And to throw a spanner in the works I've been offered a full 4 pot kit using toureg calipers for 400

Go for the 4 pot from Touareg.
It uses the Merc ML450 350 mm discs.

I have done mate, pick them up next week come with discs and pads but might look into some better pads for them :)
also ill ask you this because you seem to know a lot about brakes :D
do the brakets needed change at all if using 55mm or 50mm hubs? I don't think they will but want to check.
also do you think I will need wheel spacers to run this kit behind Pescara wheels?
350mm discs should look sweet :) cant wait

Just found out they are 330mm discs so dunno what discs they will be?

Not sure what calipers you got that just use 330 mm discs, only Brembo 17Z that have 6 pots. Just Porsche has 4 pot calipers for 330 mm discs, that I know of.
I know these calipers that are 4 pot from the Touareg 3.2 V6 and use 350 mm Merc discs:

You'll need adaptor bolts, hub centring rings for the discs and wheel spacers for the Pescaras (I guess from 7-12 mm).

If you have a GTI your hubs have 55 mm. Just 1.9 TDI PD105, 1.4 FSI and 1.6 FSI use 50 mm hubs.

I think there are (1LE) calipers I have and think they are some sort of merc discs with centre bore and lug holes bored out a little more. Not sure though

Yeah, for what I could find, 1LE uses 330x32 mm discs and it's from the V6 Touareg. Not sure how those calipers that I showed a picture use 350 mm discs... I'll have to confirm with the owner if the discs are really 350 mm or 330 mm.
