Title: VW Bluetooth install Help Please - 9w7 Kit No power

Hi guys, I am desperate for some one to help me with this one!

I currently have a rns510 fitted working 100% fine no probs. I have bought the 9w7 VW Bluetooth kit but am having a huge problem when fitting. When I insert the loom between the rns510 and the original head unit wiring the rns510 does not have any power. I also tried my old original head unit which also does not power up with the loom fitted however both units turn on and function perfectly without the loom there.

I have also got hold on another loom which unfortunately has the same results, no power!

I have ruled out the loom, I have ruled out both units and the original wiring works perfectly so the only thing I can think of is a couple pins must need swapping in the loom?

I have followed each wire and they seem to be going to the same place.

If any one can shed some light on this I would be hugely great full!

Any one handy with a multimeter in the West Sussex area?
