Title: Quick question - exhaust tips

Does anyone know if these will replace the MK5 GTI standard exhaust tips?

I think they push over rather than replace the tips. Topic was discussed here:

After reading that it looks like a bit of a mine field. I was kinda hoping they would replace the ones I have, as I want them to look origional. If they slide over the OEM ones then they must be bigger. Hmmm...

Yeah they'd also make the tips poke out further too which might look odd.

Another option is to have an exhaust place cut off the existing tips and weld on some shiny new ones.

Hoping to get a turboback BCS soon anyway, so it'd only be a stop-gap for me.
