ahhh, i have this topic close to my heart. My mrs had her ibiza for a month and had been keyed in asda car-park, it was parked miles away from any other cars (to avoid the bumps). she then got the door re-sprayed and it happened again on the same door, she was not impressed and now refuses to repair it because of fear it will happen again.
just for the record Asda did not give a S*** so we have to keep paying!

I know how you feel mate. I'm currently putting off a respray as the weather's a bit crap and the only good place I know is mega expensive.
I would like to, at some point, get the whole car rubbed down and resprayed. The orange peel effect on some parts of the car is prominent.

Sorry to hear your woes :sad1:, there are some real sad people in this world :stupid:
Hope the repair goes okay. :happy2:

A kid on our street once did this to every car on the road except her mums. No proof but she was most shocked when my stepdad did it back to hers.

mrs cherry used to work as a community nurse in st.ives. the very first outing in her brand new polo to a patients house and she returned to the car and every panel had been keyed, they didnt miss one area :fighting:
only happened to me once, in my blue r32 i parked in a decent residential area to visit the mother in law, returned to the car to see someone had sandpapered the whole of the rear end! residents were well known for doing it to prevent people using their street for parking for local restaurants and that was how they protested...and still do.
hate it and drives me mad when people do things like this :fighting:

i had this happen to me mate, makes my blood boil !!
best thing to do is just leave it unless you have video evidence,
i didnt and now have court to look forward to next month for cracking the lad who did it :sad1:

That's shocking behaviour VC :surprised:, 'bout time a few lads wait in a van for it to happen and introduce the individuals' sandpapering hand to a large piece of wood at a rapid velocity. Some chaps did this once to a car thief the police continually failed to catch and needless to say he don't nick cars anymore.
Feel for you Red Snake, hope it all gets sorted to your satisfaction. :happy2:
