Would it be possible to meet up and compare DSG behaviour? Specifically in normal day-to-day driving. Have an Edition 30 and I would like to know if I should just put certain things down to "it's just the way it is!". Thanks :wink:

Clunks when downshifting into 4th or 2nd and also stall-like feeling at times when setting off or coming to a stop. I've had the mechatronics fixed to sort out a "bucking" issue, but I think I might have to have the thing replaced and/or clutch packs to make it perfect.

Doesnt sound right at all. did you get any warranty when you got yours fixed. Also was the oil changed and the settings reset?
I get a slight judder when trying to pull of as slow as possible but I dont think its anything to worry about. Other than that which isnt really a problem i think mine is spot on.
Where in wycombe are you? I know a guy who can get this sorted for you

DSG oil & filter was done at 40k, and I've literally done it again about 500 miles ago (53k). Have done a couple of DSG resets / adaptation procedures and it makes it better for a while but generally finds itself back to where it was over a week or so.
I got a warranty with the Mechatronics fix but I think what I'm seeing is a different problem to the well known "jerking" in 1st and reverse which the guys at Bristol Gearbox Centre sorted out (replaced faulty solenoid).
I'm pretty much near the centre of Wycombe. Who did you have in mind? Are you local too? PM sent.

Check your gearbox mounting as the simplest of things can cause this as I had similar issues with clucking in down shift with my dsg and now all gone since the new gear box mount that has been fitted.
Thought the barstewards that sold me the car done me over with that but after closer inspection I found the mount to be rocking when engine was moved by hand and this needs to be done with the filter box off or its hard to pin point.
