Problem is this bulb holder has melted and wires exposed. It's a weird sized bulb but looks like the BA9S bulb but a lot thinner though. Has anyonw had a similar issue and replaced the holder?.

This has burnt out and in need of new holder or replacement holders for the 501's as I'd prefer to fit led's bulbs in.
My son's hand as he was climbing all over the lights trying to help daddy out

This is the weird sized bulb.

Is this indicator bulb. If so has it burnt out because of running them as running lights

That is the running light aka marker light that hides behind am amber lense.

Indicator is a separate amber bulb and has its own location close to the marker.

thanks

oh really

Mine have four bulbs.

Bought them off a forum member

I've got a way of repairing them now with a bunch of bulb holders I found in the shed. Hopefully the size will be perfect for the holes.

The second picture shows the marker holder and the hole it goes into on the light. The indicator bulb has the two red and orange wires just below and a black holder just about visible in the picture.

You're definitely going to struggle for these as ive had the same problem and went for a pair of these instead. a little tight to fit and I had to make the holes slightly bigger. Actually one melted the plastic so the other had to be slightly bigger to fit the holder in. they are made of rubber so should be flexible in fitting.
The original ones have an odd offset on them so couldn't find anything to match them and I've got about 10 different ones at home in a bag.

You need to cut and solder the new holder on so be prepared with a soldering iron solder and some heat shrink.

The ones I've used and been on the car since fitting with no issues bit the error bulb light maybe I've wired them back to front but can see how  :stupid:

I'm in east London of you fancy a trip down  :signLOL:

Better to take the bumper off head lights out and get soldering tbh. Easiest way or you'll struggle with them in the vehicle.
