Hi Neil,

I'd contact @Powervalve Nige (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=331) direct and i'm sure he will let you know if there is going to be one  :happy2:

I'm in on this if it happens! Think the last was Feb/March? Might have to hold on a few months. Update the thread if you get an answer

Can we get a r32 slip on within the group buy? That's all I need as I already have the power valve

Hopefully Nige can come along soon and put us out of our misery.

I'm sure if we keep bumping the numbers he'll consider getting it going!

I've got a quote on a r32 slip on already for the 3 different designs they do but after spending the ££££ on the power valve itself and the r32 rear then to get painted £225 plus vat is expensive for a slip on trim piece.

I'd be interested in a Down pipe and cat with middle section to fit a 2.5" but couldn't find one on their website? The TSI system they do is 2.5" and they only seem to do cat backs. Where as the GTI has 3" and they do the full system :s unless I'm horribly confused!

We'll need a nod from the likes of @rich83 and @Powervalve Nige to get this rolling.

Nope... not me.

But you do need to speak to alex and nige to get all the information together to start this... no point in running up 10 pages of maybes.
@Powervalve Nige (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=331)  will start the proper thread when the GB starts. So best thing is to PM him and speak to him about running one rather than keep asking here.

I mentioned you as I had it in my head you did the last one.. It's quite likely I imagined it!

Ok, I'll message Nige and see what he says.

You'd be best speaking to Nige directly, that's not something I can answer!

Yes but that then means ill be paying the premium which he quoted. Surely with the gb pricing i could get the desired discount? Is this not something whoever is setting up the gb can ask?
Title: Re: BCS group buy
Post by: th3_f15t on January 06, 2016, 08:05:16 pm
For info, last group buy I saved nearly £650 on the retail price of an exhaust for my Mk5 Golf GTI. If I wasn't happy enough with my Milltek on my Golf R I'd probably jump in as well but I'll have to se what the discounts are and numbers ect...

Can't see it been a problem a group buy @Powervalve Nige (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=331) of which you will need he will have to start the proper thread up and its ok with @vRSAlex (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1981)

Yep, I spoke to Nige yesterday, he said it was fine and asked me to start a thread (obvs it makes more sense for Nige or admin to do that). PMd Alex yesterday also, so hopefully when he's free he can start the thread and get it moving.

Oh by the way, Nige said a minimum of 10 buyers and 17.5% discount. We'll see if we can bump the numbers up and get him to 20%

Anyone with one of these systems experience any drone?

More than a few here have a full turbo back system. I'm really happy with mine. It was money well spent. :happy2:

The BCS website seems to be knackered at the moment  :fighting2:

Does anybody know if there's an option for a catback system, with the powervalve? Or is the powervalve option only on the full systems?

I don't really want to swap out the downpipe...I'm only contemplating changing exhaust for better noise and aesthetics, but like the idea of it being quiet when you're not on boost (for when wifey is driving around with the kiddies), and louder when I'm giving it the beans.

@FJ1000 I think the powervalve is only available with a full system, I may be wrong though.

As to drone, I have a turbo back powervalve sport system with 200 cel cat .and can confirm that there is zero drone at all. It passed mot last month no problems, and even the techs in my work are taken with the quality and sound of the system.

I am so impressed with the system that I would probably only ever buy future systems from them.

Hope this helps
