Hey guys
After purchasing the Halfords 5 Piece Lifting Kit which includes their trolley jack, I was extremely disappointed and had to return it! The trolley jack doesn't lift the car up high enough to get it on the axle stands, even at their lowest point!!!!
I've returned the kit and bought the following axle stands (good price for black friday deal) http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/garage-workshop/axle-stands/halfords-advanced-3-tonne-ratchet-axle-stands - so I need a decent trolley jack to go with it. Our cars (8th gen civic & mk5 golf) aren't lowered however a low profile one would be good, but it has to have a decent amount of lift so I can raise it high enough to get the stands under the car!
Can anyone recommend me one?
Budget- Looking for cheap as possible but can spend upto around £50
Thanks

I have a proper 3ton low rise jack which I can rarely use now as it's very heavy.
So I bought this one off ebay and it's okay for raising the car and putting axle stands under.

Good prices from this company :happy2: but ex vat.
I have one from Costco I purchased years back that looks like this one in the link.
it was a 2.5ton jack I borrowed to a friend for his garage and he damaged it and had to replace it with the newer 3 ton red one for being a twat
I paid £65 for mine and he replaced it with a 3 ton £125. :rolleye:

Great jack, only downside is it weighs a bloody tonne!
