Title: Xenon Headlights
Post by: irish_ram on December 01, 2015, 08:58:07 pm
Might be a stupid question but then I am known for asking them so hoping someone can help.

I have factory Xenon's on my Ed30 and wondered is it normal that everytime I start the car the headlights do an initial adjustment?

Yep - they are supposed to. It's when they don't that it starts getting expensive, and you either end up blinding other cars, or seeing little (when the beams point down to the floor)!
My driver side has stopped doing it - no way of repairing it, so apparently a new headlamp needed

Don't these cars have the headlight level sensors like the Audi tt?.

one on the near side front and the other on the near side rear as these tend to snap when lowered etc.
