Title: Clutch for stage 2+?
Post by: jacobrownoly on December 05, 2015, 02:09:21 pm
Hey guys looking for clutch recommendations for my stage 2+ gti. Looking to maybe go ko4 soon so probably will need to uprate the clutch. Any advice? In terms of what to go for/price.

Many thanks

As above.

Been running an Organic Helix clutch (with OEM DMF) for 3 years on my stage 2+ Eddy and still as good as day 1.

I am stage 2+ on a eddy and still on the oem clutch !, it was replaced just before I bought the car so been waiting to change it, tbh it's fine,mi don't do any traffic light gp starts but done a few k miles on it now and it's fine. If and when it does go I'll go for the one everyone recommends. Just hope it's not too hard to press down. The oem does have a nice feel to it.

Around £500 for the part. Do your dual mass flywheel at the same time. Order a LUK one from euro car parts (or cheap online parts supplier).

It's gear box off jobby, not a quick job at all. Alex did mine  :happy2:
