Title: New Clutch time... Advice needed
Post by: ed30Lewis on December 10, 2015, 09:45:42 am
Morning everyone,

My Helix Clutch and LUK DMF has arrived today so im going to look at replacing the clutch within the next few weeks or so ready for Stage 2+.

Im also going to get new LUK Flywheel bolts from euro car parts but is there anything else I should buy whilst im doing the job? Im thinking of changing the slave cylinder also. Is there a part number for the slave cylinder or where do people get them from? How much are they?

Obviously i only want to do the job once. Car is an Edition 30 Golf. Apologies for all the questions! :signLOL:

Thanks

Lewis

Haven't checked the Euros site as I normally order from carparts4less. Just checked there and they stock them (I used my car as an example, but its the same part:

*edit*

Just checked and they do stock the LUK one, which is what I use in my Leon - all the same part
