Just fitted mfsw buttons to my dsg wheel (07 edition 30)
My volume up and down on the left hand side works but right hand side doesn't do anything.
I have rcd510 midline display and now mfsw.
Can you skip tracks with the mfsw buttons? If so is it a case of I need a little coding doing? Thanks for help :)

To have that functionality with a midline, you need the old style buttons (pre 2005.5). Unfortunately they're as rare as hens teeth. I got mine off eBay from a guy in Hungary. I've got the exact same setup as you, RCD510 and midline.

Bugger lol I didn't do my homework and just thought you could use em to skip tracks. Ah well still looks miles better and have some functions for 25/30 quid the right hand side does work with the trip computer just wanted it to skip tracks! Lol

So if I fit highline clocks the buttons on the right will skip the track?

I think you can do it if you tick the bap protocol box using vcds but you lose the navigation from the highline cluster

on mine, (factory fitted) I need to have the audio up in my dash display, for it to work on track selection, volume works all hte time, but the track select also works hte menu on the dash, so you need to have the audio, current track in the dash display

yeh I havnt got highline clocks and you need highline clocks for it to skip tracks :(
can justify that much money thought for highline clocks as I only want them so I can skip tracks lol.
such hard work having to do it on the stereo ;)
