I did some logging with VCDS to check that my DV was okay.

What I've found is rather odd.

 At idle:
 Boost Pressure Specified: 310 mbar
 Boost Pressure Actual: 990 mbar

 At 5k RPM:
 Boost Pressure Specified: 1740 mbar
 Boost Pressure Actual: 1670 mbar

Unless I'm doing something wrong, the boost pressures seem incredibly high (max 25 psi!). There are no fault codes on the engine and it pulls really well.

Is something up with the car? Why do the boost specified and the boost actual not match up at idle? Boost pressure actual never goes below 900 mbar.

 Edited to add:

Standard (as far as I know, just got the car) KO3 GTI.

Reading is absolute pressure so includes atmospheric pressure. It's fine

 Okay thanks mate.

I can assume the DV is okay?

Need more than that to confirm a DV is ok. The issue is a lot less obvious on standard, unmapped cars
