Title: Handling upgrades
Post by: jacobrownoly on December 28, 2015, 10:30:45 pm
Hello, looking for some advice on making my mk5 gti feel more 'planted/safe' on the ground for fast speed road use and drag. I already have lowering springs, decent eagle f1 tyres and the S3 brake upgrade but what else? I may be planning on going K04 soon so what else in terms on handling would help the car.

Many thanks  :happy2:

Uprated dampers or a full decent coilover kit would help.

Anti-lift kit

Polybushing

Alloy wishbones and or hubs

RS3 top mounts

Anti roll bars

Lightweight wheels

Lighter brakes

Any of the above will help, I would go with dampers/ coilovers first and do the top mounts at the same time as they're probably worn anyway. Then rear anti roll bar and start trying to reduce unsprung weight.
