Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but I'm installing a new head unit today & I also bought a plug in Bluetooth obd reader to use the torque pro app on the head unit, but I've not found where it goes? Any tips?
Thanks!

Under the steering wheel, on the door side, you'll find it
-
Next OBD question, what app is the one everyone uses? I take it it's android as I can't seem to find torque pro on the Apple Store?
-
I use Torque Pro, Android only i'm afraid, none of that apple rubbish..... :signLOL:
If you're Apple :fighting:, there is an app called Carista, but you'll need a WiFi adaptor rather than a bluetooth one, as apple are a PITA when it comes to bluetooth

No problem, yea I'm mainly Apple, BUT, I'm ready to be converted as I've just bought an Android 4.4.4 Erisin head unit, which I'll download the App for that, I just wanted to test my little gadget with my iPhone.

Fitted my obd 2 scanner & my erisin android 9015 HU last night, but I'm struggling to pair it?
Do I need a BT app?
Or is it because I'm trying the lite version?
-
Is BT turned in android settings?
If so, from android Bluetooth settings find the device and pair.
I'm guessing that's what you're doing though?
Are you able to see the device in settings?
When pairing what happens? Any errors?
Once that's done you should be able to see the device connect in torque.
-
You'll need to turn on Bluetooth and pair it as said above. The code is normally 1234 or sometimes 0000 it can sometimes take a few tries to connect in Dashcommand or Torque Pro

That's the strange thing!
I can't find the settings on the android HU!
But my phone is paired? BT sign is on on the HU too, very odd.
