Title: Coil pack connector clips
Post by: Bo! on January 04, 2016, 07:51:52 pm
Hi
A couple clips that connect to the coil packs are broken . I have did a search and it shows this is a common issue.
The engine cover is back on so its not visible but do I need to get this sorted .?
If it does is appreciate part no's for the clips .
And also what a vag specialist would likely charge for doing this .
Cheers .

They sell a repair kit http://www.partscats.info/volkswagen/en/?i=cat_vag_models&brand=vw&number=1714&set=1728&ein=2007&f=474&hauptgr=1234567890&hg=9&grf=097111420&bf=97111&hgug=971&ug=71&parent_id=2366404

Look at item 17  - put that part number into eBay and Google for the price and how to at audizine.com

It will fail - the sooner you get it done the cheaper the bill will be!

No not spoke to TPS .
Cars still under warranty from VW and I'm going to phone and ask them why they sold me the car with these broken to see if I can get them to replace when I take it in for a service got to be worth a shout .
