Hi all,
I currently have an RNS 510 in my MK6 Golf R and am trying to work out if it is on the latest / correct firmware.
From VCDS The unit is as followed :-
Address 56: Radio (J0506) Labels: 1T0-035-680.clb
Part No SW: 1T0035680D HW: 1T0035680C
Component: RNS-MID H52 4120
Revision: AB001001 Serial number: VWZ6Z7L6134046
Coding: 04070042010000900000
Shop #: WSC 01357 011 00200
VCID: 2F6B63FE7E6A2666327-807A
So its a 1T0035680C that I previously updated from 2840 to 4120 - in doing so it makes the software part recognise as a 1T0035680D but its actually a 1T0035680C - which I found a little confusing.
I will shortly be updating the maps so was wondering if there is also any firmware upgrades outstanding ?
Not sure if needed but my CAN Gateway details are :-
Address 19: CAN Gateway (J533) Labels: 7N0-907-530-V2.clb
Part No SW: 7N0 907 530 C HW: 1K0 907 951
Component: J533 Gateway H37 0614
Revision: H37 Serial number: 200511F1001852
Coding: 350003
Shop #: WSC 01357 011 00200
VCID: 306960826354399E2BD-8065
Any help be greatly appreciated - if any more info is needed then let me know.
Drew.

Recurring question many times answered. You can update the firmware to 5274 modified. At best you'll get a little bit faster functioning radio, no new functions.
If you do the update, your radio will show as a L version.
