Title: H&R 50mm springs anyone?
Post by: Mitch H on January 12, 2016, 09:29:34 pm
anyone got the h and r 50mm supersport springs I think they call them?

I'm thinking of fitting them but run 15mm spacers on front with pescaras and worried they might have too much poke for a 50mm drop.
or are the 30mm springs plenty low enough?

pics of your gti on h and r springs? :D

I think at 50mm drop and 15mm spacer you'll need something doing to the arches

I was on 30mm H&R and 12mm spacer and that was on the cusp IMO

I'm on 30mm H&R and BBS VZ which are 8 wide and et44, so within a millimetre of what a Pescara spaced 12mm would be, and to my eye there's loads of room. Never rubs, would be really surprised if it did.

Another 20mm lower though... hmmmm. That would probably be at least on the cusp!

Especially with 15mm spacers.

You're probably ok on the rear, but at the front is where it'll be close.

Bit of gentle arch rolling..?

think rolled arches look a mess tbh even when done properly.
ill just stick with 30mm :)

Probably the sensible choice pal!
