Title: Is Tyreleader.ie a genuine site?
Post by: lukemk5gti on January 13, 2016, 05:05:43 pm
So I'm fairly confident tyreleader.co.uk is legit and I was using their .ie domain to order Goodyear Eagle F1 Ass 3 for an incredible price of €110 each.

Thought it was too good to be true and it may well have been.

The money went out of my account already and it's debited as CP REIFEN TRADING GMBH

Now I get an email saying that my order was cancelled and it said it's because:
a - encountered a problem
b - not in stock
c - order was cancelled by me

Then my Hotmail flags them as red and states "Be careful! This sender failed our fraud detection checks."

Anyone any thoughts?

Not sure if the site's genuine, but €110 for the tyre isn't the steal of the century.

It's around £85 fitted at tyre-shopper.co.uk

If you're worried, contact your bank to sort it out.

I have used them before, were the cheapest place for the ns2rs at the time. It was debited at the above company the only issues I had was 2 tyres arrived and the other 2 didn't for another 3 days. You can do a live chat system on their website when you log in, that's what I did and they were really helpful

They are very legit, as they are part of Mytyres.

Yup there legit , I believe Michelin have not long bought them out .

Iv had 2 GY eagle f1's bought and delivered for £20 . Obviously a typo mistake on there behalf and I should have ordered 10 but was sceptical, but hey they turned up 2 days later from Germany via dpd couriers

When I looked again they where back up to £140 a tyre

I bought oz alloys from them before. I was sceptical at the price aswell. Am sure i put a thread up here about it aswell.

My bank declinded payment because it was an unusual transaction as it was going to germany and they blocked my card.

Had to phone back and they asked alsorts of security questions.

https://www.tyreleader.co.uk

Slower than camskill and you have to be carful with the age of the tyres.

But. They are cheap and deliver the goods

I recently ordered 2 Michelin Pilot Super Sports 295/30/19 and they were only manufactured a couple of months prior.

So I got another email to see they were temporarily out of stock.

I looked in my internet history and found the exact link for the tyres I bought. Price jumped from €110 - €147 https://www.tyreleader.ie/car-tyres/goodyear/eagle-f1-asymmetric-3/225-40-r18-92y-443743

They're also clearly in stock.

Looks like they made a mistake on the price and decided to cancel my order before updating the price again.
