Title: Spigot rings
Post by: Vwgtiking on January 20, 2016, 08:21:35 pm
As I currently don't have centre caps I can see the spigot rings. Now I am unsure if it matters which way round they are but I noticed 2 of them have split on one side of the ring, not broken in half. If that makes sense.

Anyway, what I wanted to know is it worth replacing them and what size do i need? The wheels came off a b6 a4 so am unsure what bore they had but he didn't use spigots for them on his car.

Is the golf 57.1mm? I think I have 56.1mm rings on hence why they have cracked.

check out cylinder 2.

Have I missed something? What does that mean? I think I need 57.1mm to 73.1mm.

This is only part of my question. Will it be ok to still run with crack spigot rings or not?
