Hi all,
So this seems a common(ish) problem. Im wondering what to do...can i just change the plastic bit at the top or do I need a whole new pump?

IIRC i think you need a whole new pump, no replacement part unfortunately

Sorry but your username made me chuckle!
That part can be changed but is not available separately. Find a used/second hand pump for cheap and swap it over. Alternatively try and glue it back together and see how you get on.

I have an old pump. I changed it due to the plunger being a little sticky.
I tried to remove the piece you want but don't have any spanners that big.
£35 delivered for the pump
