Purchased my 2006 gti on a bit of an impulse, so far not been very reliable but in my eyes that's building a bit of character. So far I have changed the oil pick up pipe, cam follower, dv, spark plugs and just gave it a full oil and filter change.
Car feels like it's got flat spots around 3-4k maybe a boost leak but got booked in for a dyno on the 6th so we shall see exactly what it's putting out.
Future plans stage 2+ but keep the handling set up the same as I find softer suspension quicker and less intense over B roads
