Evening all, haven't been on here in a while so Hello
Wife hit a speed bump bit fast this evening and snapped front o/s spring on Mk5 2008 Gt Tdi
Going to replace both as good practice to do so and having covered 85,000 miles the other side probably seen better days anyway
My question is what springs to go for, dont want lowered or stiffer etc so thinking some sachs items or similar
Any recommendations?
Or anyone have any as new standard ones for sale!
Thanks

No, those are dampers and OEM for sport suspension dampers are the B6s.
@Matthewsimone (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=10426) I'd recommend Eibach Pro-Kits. I have them on my GT Sport. Better than OEM in every aspect. Can't fault them for a good daily drive car.

My coilover n/s snapped on Thursday I have dsg I had the choice of putting on my lowered eibach or return to standard - I returned to standard and realised how comfortable the ride is

Eibach Pro-Kits are much more comfortable than Sportlines and more comfortable than OEM. Sportlines with Bilstein B8 (B12 kit) might be better than OEM damper and Sportlines.
