56 plate dsg with 95K.
Car is mainly used on 15-20 min runs and think the heating is working fine, it's usually set at 17 or 18.
Did an hour run the other day and the better half cranked it up to 20 and it was blowing coldish air. Tried adjusting the temp up and down and it made no difference.
I'll have a read of handbook tomorrow but anything obvious I need to check?
Thanks.

Did the display say "HI" when you were testing whether the heating works?
Was the "Econ" light on? I.e., The AC was off.
-
Haven't got a clue to be honest!
I'll have a look tomorrow cheers.

Bit of a thread bump.
It's still the same, ok for a short 10-15 min run but longer than that it blows out cold air even when setting the temp higher.
The econ light was off btw.
Any ideas?

Econ light off means that that AC is on...
-
Right.....
So if the temperature is set to say 19 degrees for example why is it blowing out out cold air?
-
AC is generally a lot cooler, even at higher temperatures. After 15 minutes, the cabin may also be sufficiently warm.
Remember, it's aiming to keep the temperature of the cabin at 19 degrees. That doesn't necessarily mean that the air coming out of the fans is that temperature.
The sun can also effect the climate control. Even if you have it set to 22 and it's 3 outside but really sunny, the car has a sensor on the dash to sense that. So you'll feel a lot warmer than it actually is, therefore cold air comes out.
The best way to test it is to set it to HI with AC off (Econ light on).

Ok ta will try that cheers
