So I will be getting a rev g and replacement cam valve(connector snapped) and was wondering can I check anywhere with VCDS if these parts are affecting the running of my car.
Reason I ask is when I scan nothing comes up on VCDS but I am presuming doing some say measuting block tests would tell me if there is something still wrong wit them. Also this would then allow me to compare the results once I have replaced each part so I know if they have made a difference
Cheers :happy2:

well dump valve you'd want to measure boost levels for any drops. cam valve i assume would effect the timing advance

Cheers,
Yeah I inspected the DV the other week and it looked fine but is D revision and new one will be a G so wanted to make sure I could get evidence it had improved performance.
And with the cam valve the connector was broke and flagged an error but after I glued it back on the error has gone but again may be affecting the car in some way
