Title: garage.
Post by: fireblade51 on February 02, 2016, 09:39:19 pm
Hi  buying a highly modified golf on saturday near Cardiff can anyone recommend a garage near by to have it checked out, save me taking it to VWR , seller is paying so does not matter about cost, also could do with being put on a Dyno, are there any local ones around there you would recommend, thanks.

There's nowhere decent in Cardiff with a dyno as far as I know. Nearest places would be Indigo-GT up near Merthyr, or Got Boost in Bridgend

That car sounds awesome - shame i've never seen it around

anywhere that could give you a bhp reading tbh.

I doubt the seller is lying but better to be safe than sorry.  :happy2:

Will do first thing in morning, and i have received an email of Austec racing today which has put my mind at rest, saying that APR sent there Motorsports head from USA, apr conrods, wosner pistons and apr camshafts, and was billed to APR motorsport UK as the the car was used as a development  car to go from stage 3 to stage 3+. they have sent me the receipts for this work build cost only, also a promotional video APR used immediately post stage 3+ and said they would get dyno graph by tommorow, will get these posted.

This car sounds well impressive mate. be careful how you drive it as that's some serious power under that bonnet and torque to snap your neck off!. if it were a AWD I'd feel safer with that sort of power but I'm sire you know what you're doing.
