Sunday 13th March @Telford International Centre
09:00 - 16:30
Anyone else going to be making an appearance for this event?
Would advise getting there at like 7am, otherwise you won't get on the car park.
-
I will be there! One of my favourite shows from last year. I agree on the getting there early too! I queued for hours last year and ended up parking in the multi-storey across the road.

I actually didn't go to last years because I left it too late. Thought I would be fine to get there at 9am.... OH how I was wrong
Where are you travelling from?

I arrived at 2pm last year.
Was better as everyone had gone home and I could get photos in peace.

Fully intend on setting off at the arse crack of dawn to beat the majority of the queue
-
Yeah I am probably going to try and be there at the gates for like half 6 in the morn ....
-
Club stand?
-
Bit late to organise it.
I'm on the ukmkivs one.
-
Going the Saturday night... no queues, parking is free at Asda, plenty of space to photograph the cars on show...

You have to pay at asda now mate only free after 6pm, all the car parks are £1 all day on Sundays at the town centre. The town centres all 2 way traffic aswell now so should flow much better. I live in telford and when UD is on I find the old multi story opposite the international is the best place to park, just mind the speed bumps.

Sitting in the traffic is all part of the fun! Wooooyyyyy haahaa

I thought this until after 2 hours of traffic in 2014. It lost it's humour appeal after about 30 minutes. :P I'm getting older and grumpy now, I need my beauty sleep and an easy life.
-
I'll be there in my 7R :happy2:
Leaving at a ridiculous hour to avoid any queues. . . :indifferent: will be there early
-
I'm leaving at 6am to be by 7am absolute latest.
Time for sleep!
-
Some poor quality paint work on show tonight, no where near as good as last year..
-
We're leaving Nottingham at 6:30 to be there for 8. Hoping we miss the majority of the traffic!
-
I'll be on the ukmkivs stand out the front.
Gathering at Telford services around 7:15.

There is about 20 others I will try and upload tomorrow night, as Photobucket just ain't having it right now.
I did however miss taking a photo of the RS6 that had it's wings colour faded from carbon fibre to grey. Truly talented guy whoever did that!
Is a photo of it on my Instagram adam_waterhouse if anyone wants to see it.
Very good show I thought to be honest. Some lovely examples on display.
The VW RST5 was naughty! 435bhp with an RS4 engine in it, 178mph it made on the dyno. Ended up winning car of the show.
-
^that RS6 was mental.
Even caught @xjay1337 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=7542) taking a pic or two of it
Was a great day overall. So many cars all over the site, felt like the best UD I've been to. Weather was perfect as well :notworthy:
-
Thanks for sharing the pics. Feel gutted now I missed this!
Was lazing about all day as well so coulda gone, didn't know how good this show was. At least I know for next time.

No problem

Did anyone hear the utter filth that was the 3.2 V6 Audi TT on the car park?!
I've never heard anything like it in my life
-
Bit hard to miss when he was trying to get the conrod to exit through the side of the block.
-

I saw him
-
This is true
-
Did anyone have any detailed photos of this work spoken about below?
"did however miss taking a photo of the RS6 that had it's wings colour faded from carbon fibre to grey. Truly talented guy whoever did that"!
As I've heard so much about it I wish I had of went to the show!
-
The rs6 with carbon front end is luke @ plush automotive.
I also thought that Jaymacs mk1 won car of the show. Awards were nightmare couldn't understand what they was saying.

With you on that, gave up trying to understand what was being said in the end.
Yeah I knew the RS6 was someone at Plush, one of my favourites of the show. My favourite was probably the White Golf R with Gold Rotiforms. I'm not sure which Rotis they were. Car was clean and classy. Pretty sure the owner came all the way from Belgium actually for the show.

Looked on his website and nothing for that vehicle so stilling looks for any photos if you've got any?
-
If you mean the RS6, look on their Instagram account. They posted mine and another guys photo on their account. Mine shows the colour fade, the other photo is of whole car.

It did look awesome. Good idea how they have managed to blow in the paint work over the carbon and depending on which way you looked at it and what light was hitting it, yourd see more of the carbon compared to the paintwork and / or the opposite way, more paint than carbon. Very nice feature!
-
Did anyone see the MK5 Pirelli edition in the room with the carpet? Was really clean and subtle looking, loved a few little bits on it I wouldn't mind doing to mine. Very nice

I didn't even realise there were cars round the back as well!
