Title: Black GTi - it's a blank canvas!!

Picked up my new toy today, an '06 3-door GTi. Not the most perfect day for it, but at least I know the traction and ABS work well!!  :wink:

It is totally standard but treating it as a modifying blank canvas.  Will drive it for a couple of weeks before doing anything to it, and then will try and apply upgrades at a steady pace - famous last words!!   Poor thing doesn't know what's going to hit it!!

Only got this ropey picture at the moment - will post some more when I dig it out of the snow and we get more than 10 minutes of daylight!!

I'm more than sure that I'll be the only one saying this, but I really love the look of a stock GTI on 17s.

Awesome are definitely on the list, as are PSI, plus Pipewerx for a custom zorst!! Not sure where all the bits will be sourced from but looking forward to getting on with it!!  Am already struggling with my self-imposed limit of no modifying for first 2 or 3 weeks, thank god it's snowing and I'm busy so can't get anywhere.  I'm enjoying it standard but I know this will not last.  Sharan aerial ordered off Ebay yesterday....  :ashamed:

For all those 17" Monza lovers, they will be for sale very soon!!!   :wink:

Nice one.Not the best weather to pick a new car up in.In the last 3 weeks mine has done 90 miles !!!!!!. :sad1:
