Title: Is a 35w 5000k HID kit bright enough for depo projectors?
Post by: jimmy-s3 on February 08, 2016, 05:42:51 pm
As above, will a 35W 5000K hid kit be bright enough for my new Depo projector headlights?

They'll be fine as I think most use the same.
I'm running the 55watt 6000k kit as I didn't want to buy twice.
Got the same in fogs too but only for unlit roads and motorways although the main lights are bright enough.  :happy2:

Oh no, you don't drive around with sidelights and fogs on do you?
If I didn't like my car I'd drive into people that do that.

But yeah 35w will be plenty, I have a 55w 12000k set in mine. They're probably a bit much tbh

@rich83 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=709) I seriously have no need to use them as the headlights are more than adequate for dark road but if it's too dark and raining and I need the extra light then will use them. :signLOL:
