Title: What size tyres on 7.5j rim
Post by: Johnsy on February 12, 2016, 02:09:07 pm
As title ,

Wondering what the best size tyre Is for a 7.5j rim?

Currently got 225/40/18 mpss fitted , just had a remap and wondering if a slightly wider tyre would be better ?

Thanks Dan

Wider :surprised: it depends what your looking for in the way of looks but I'm running 215 40 18 on a 8.5j wheel and they don't   look  to stretched at all.

I'm looking for more grip!

Answered my own question, 235 is max 215-225 is best fit on 7.5inch rim.

235/40/18 are £20 cheaper a corner than the smaller 225/40/18 ( MPSS )

I'd still stick with 225/40/18 personally.

Yep because 225 is the correct size for 7.5"
