Hi all, just bought a set of GTD leathers to go into my MK6. Very happy with them but the guy has decided to cut the rear central seatbelt, rather than unbolt it. How would I go about replacing this with the one already in my car? can't for the life of me work out how I'd take the rear bench apart for access. Thanks

To replace the centre belt I think it's an unstitch the leather covers replace then restitch job so a proper ball ache. Why the heck did he cut it :fighting: If your 5 up in the car a lot I think your knackered for an easy fix. If you rarely use the middle seat you could bodge it but I wouldn't want to trust it with my life

Got a brand new seatbelt for a very good price so can't complain about that but still need to find someone willing to replace it for me

Just a follow up on this. Just picked the rear bench up from the trimming company I used. Cost £50 for the service of taking the seat apart and replacing the seatbelt. So not too bad all in, considering I only paid £19.99 for a brand new seatbelt :happy2:
