Hi all
I seem to be suffering from a squeaky windscreen wiper blade on my 2005 mk5 Golf GTI. It started a few weeks ago, so last Sunday I took a trip down to Halfords and replaced it with a brand new Bosch wiper blade.
However by this Wednesday the problem was back, in fact its even worse than before. I can't see anything on the glass itself and the car is cleaned fortnightly. Is there any products you can recommend which may get rid of this issue? Have heard of various products which apparently coat the blades.......
Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated :happy2:
Cheers
George

try using a clay bar on the glass.. usually blades squeak because the screen isnt clean

Does Rain X help? Recommended some to me old man a while back based on whay I'd read, and he seemed mildly impressed.

Rain X is very good for all the windows, except the front screen. It confuses the rain sensor and makes the wipers judder across the screen.

I never knew that. Interesting info. I don't use it myself as it happens, find my wipers are fine with decent screenwash.
