Title: ABS Pump G201 fault - cross compatibility with other VW models

So the amber traction warning appeared on the dash. Fault codes checked and confirmed as G210 fault.
VW have stopped covering this repair under a good will gesture.
I have been offered one from a 2007 Passat PN - 3CO 614 109 K
My PN is 1KO 614 517 AF

Any advice?

Just had the exact fault on our Leon, Seat were having none of it. VW confirmed they stop goodwill on this issue last year, regardless of age/miles/history etc....

Have fitted the repair kit, which is basically all the internals of the abs pump changed, this was £280 + fitting, came in at £460. Ended with more discount after MOT, service, cam belt & waterpump.

Thanks Frodo. I'm able to source the repair kit for £170 so thats an option but wondering if the passat pump listed above would work as i have been offered it free.
