Just been offered a rns510 dab led type 'C'. I have highline fitted now and mk6 mfsw so was after a new head unit and wondering what the difference is between 'type c' , 'type p' ....????
Any help would be greatly appreciated! !

I didn't think the type C was LED? I thought it was LCD and a smaller hard drive but someone may be able to confirm..
-
Aaah that would make sense! Thanks

if your sure its DAB then the part number could be 686 C, the 686 denoting RNS's with DAB. The P version you mention will be 680 (standard 510) P which will be a 510 without DAB

I've just been sent the part number: 1T0035680F. Now Im pretty confused!!
-
Then it shouldn't be dab, does it have a small round black socket that looks like the white aerial ones or the blue GPS one?
-
Tbh I'm not entirely sure, but the bloke seems shifty so I think I'm just going to get one off a reputable seller or wait until one comes up in for sale section on here!
Thanks for tge help though :happy2:
