Hi guys,
Is there anyone near Heathrow that has a oil filter wrench as the previous service had been over tightened and just won't come off
I'll even pay

You're going to need more than a 36mm socket if the housing has been stripped around the hex???
An oil filter strap will be required to wrap around the filter housing in order to remove so best advice is to go get yourself a new one. if you get a new one then if you're careful enough actually no forget that lol

I managed to get a new one from awesomegti then gonna get a strap wrench so I'm hoping all will be good again

Yeah, stupid plastic POS and stupid spanner monkeys as the torque spec is clearly written on it!! They see a huge 36mm hex and think it needs air gunning on :stupid:
Happened on my R32 and had to break it apart with a chisel and hammer.

I used a chisel and hammer on a ford Kuga and that thing is well hidden under the inlet. :stupid: designs as they are seriously tight anyway. same with one of the ford mondeos which have the filter behind the rad and ypu need a shallow 27 mm socket to access it.
