Title: Mfd2 copied discs
Post by: RetroRaz on February 22, 2016, 07:13:02 pm
Hi all.

Not really used the mfd2s before but any reason why it won't play burnt audio discs and only originals.

The burnt discs work in another mfd2.

Any help would be appreciated

The radio needs to be unlocked.

The explanation how to do it is in this forum: http://gpsunderground.com/forum/car-navi-system/car-gps-systems/volkswagen-seat-skoda/

Does this also work for CD versions? burning off the DVD will my headunit (black buttons) read the DVD?

The CD version (older) will only read CDs. Not sure if that forum has updates for that version as well. I never needed to search it. I just know about the DVD version because my brother-in-law has one.
