Title: What oil for Stage 1 ED30 ?

Apologies if this has already been covered

I have an ED30 currently stage 1 and need to get some oil for a top up soon. I know Millers seems to be the oil of choice however light pockets until pay day my question is 5W30 or 5W40 fully synthetic or semi for a mapped car.

Halfords have a good deal at the minute

I sell castrol at work so i can buy it cheap but i tries millers last time and wont go back to castrol anytime! The car runs smoother, less smoke from exhaust and less noise from engine! Even with oil you get what you pay for. My stage 2+ eddy deserves the best and I will only give it millers in the future.
You can find it quite cheap on ebay!
In Sweden we don't have any dealer for millers so i must buy it from uk with quite expensive shipping cost wich makes it twice as expensive then the castrol but i still think it's good value for money.

Fortunately I have a local dealer or the price would be even worse compared to any other renowned brand.

From my personal experience not all official dealers accept that you bring your oil. I prefer having a VAG independent specialist taking care of my cars. They know more than most VW mechanics. :wink:
