Title: Who has a Jetta?

What's the deal with the fogs? Are they built into the std headlights?

I have some fogs retro fitted into gti grills and has a button in the cabin. Can this button be wired into the existing light switch?

Also does the gti grills fit without cutting directly into the Jetta bumper?

I have a Jetta front end and the fogs fit into the lower grilles the same as a golf.

So the gti fogs fitted into the Jetta bumper without any issues. The Jetta bumper has chrome parts about the grill with a little lip?

The fog lights mount on the bumper the same as on a GTI, yes.

You haven't got the gti grills fitted?

How have you got them wired up? Via the light switch?

I'm referring to the fog lights as just the light unit and the grille as the grille (with chrome strip)

The fog lights from a GTI will fit a Jetta bumper. Only Jetta grilles will fit correctly.

My car had factory fog lights fitted so yes they work on the light switch.
