I'm new to this and have just bought a MK5 GOLF GTI...
The car originally came with Audi A4 Sline wheels, the 5 thick spoke ones common on 2004 onwards saloons... However I decided to buy some Monza alloys for my car and when I tried them they don't fit. This may sound stupid but I just assumed they would be the same fitament, do people know what the sizes are for the Audi wheels and Monza wheels and what would I do to sort this out? Change the whole hub? Because spacers/converters will no doubt make the wheels stick out too much...
Would really appreciate some advice,
Thanks!

What are the stats of each wheel as regardless of what the Audi wheels were the Monzas should fit if they are the correct spec for an MK5 golf

Looks like you bought copies and their 5x100 and not the 5x112 that you need
I've been looking for a single monza to use as a spare and there seems to be quite a few 5x100 sets on eBay atm
Sell them on and buy the correct wheel never change the car to match the wheel there plenty of right wheels out there

This makes sense now, I didn't realise the reps were 5x100! Great help people much appreciated, looks like I'm flogging them then! Will look into some different ones!
Thanks again!
