Title: VW offering £5k off a Golf R

I have had an email from my local VW Dealer offering up to £5k off a New Golf R. It has to be bought on PCP . I am off on holiday in a few days , has anyone done this recently ? What might the figures look like ? Something for me to ponder on the beach perhaps ?

Looks a fairly standard saving at the mo. I put details into carwow recently, just out of interest, and most are offering a similar saving. Not sure what monthly payments look like...

Bigger offer than I had. My local dealer offered me a £4,200 off a Mk7 R in red, 3dr DSG with a coupe of options ticked...... £29,472.....PCP price. Wasn't blown away and the finance packages compared to the ones on offer 18 months ago either.

Had two more quotes , one quite similar to the one i mentioned above. The other one offers £0 discount if paying cash and £1300 on finance !
