Title: Pioneer Avic F9210 BT battery drain help

im looking to get my cd player changed but im worried about battery drain will this happen im looking at changing to Pioneer Avic F9210 BT, I read somewhere about the can bus needs to be changed?

my car is a mk5 golf gti 2004

I believe you only get battery drain issues when you upgrade to a new OEM stereo. I dont think it will impact you if purchasing an aftermarket headunit.
