Title: Rear plate light issue.. Video inside

Hi. I would appreciate some forum wisdom.
There is a warning light on and a message on the screen saying the number plate light is not working.
They both come on for 3 seconds then go off. Please watch the video,the second instance nearside go's out first

Are they LED ones?

If so try putting normal bulbs in and see if the fault still occurs, if not then you know its a bulb fault and nothing wrong with wiring ect...

The first set of LED's I put in the numberplate lights didn't last very long, one would not light occasionally then not at all and would bring warning up on the dash... New set (exactly same brand/bulb) have been in now over 3 years no problems at all.

Yes they are LED.
