Title: Egr delete
Post by: Vwgtiking on March 09, 2016, 04:50:45 pm
I am new to diesels so excuse me being a noob. I have been reading about egr deletes. Seem simple enough. Allard do a pipe kit for around £60 BUT I have read people just buying blanking plates for a few quid off eBay as an alternative.

I am confused. What is best to do?

Don't you need 2 blanking plate? One on side of engine and one where the egr is? Sorry if this sounds dumb but I have only read about installing the allard kit? Does the cel actually stay off with these eBay ones?

You just need one, unless you are removing the egr cooler as well and you will need 2
