I am new to diesels so excuse me being a noob. I have been reading about egr deletes. Seem simple enough. Allard do a pipe kit for around £60 BUT I have read people just buying blanking plates for a few quid off eBay as an alternative.
I am confused. What is best to do?

I just blanked mine of and got it mapped out

Don't you need 2 blanking plate? One on side of engine and one where the egr is? Sorry if this sounds dumb but I have only read about installing the allard kit? Does the cel actually stay off with these eBay ones?
-
You just need one, unless you are removing the egr cooler as well and you will need 2

I seen that but if I am just blanking what do I do?

Where the pipe attaches you take that of and use on of your blanking plates

In between inlet and egr or the one on side of block?
