Title: rear camera install

im trying to fit the rear camera to my mk5 golf tdi se but when i remove the number plate light to thread the cable through into the boot it just seems to go nowhere and i cant see it as looks like the mk5 as some sort of body work shell that wont let you into it any ideas please how i can get the leads through to the boot o can connect camera cable and also take power cable to the rear reverse lights please

There is a grommet towards the center above the bumper structure.

Also the number plate light / parking sensor harness runs down the right hand side of the boot and down through a grommet there (might be your best bet). It's easy to feel for under the bumper skin.
