Title: Highly polished alloys
Post by: Adam0604 on March 12, 2016, 02:07:06 pm
Hi all,

Could any of you detailing gurus recommend the best course of action for cleaning the new wheels I'm putting on the car in the coming weeks please.

I have some highly polished 3SDMs going on, but concerned about what products to use when it comes to cleaning them, as I've noticed the likes of auto glym wheel cleaner specifically states NOT to use on highly polished alloys.

So my question is, what is the best sealant to use on the wheels before I put them on the car? Only need sealing the once?
And secondly, what product do you use when it comes to actually cleaning the car?

Have you had a read on wheelwhores? Probably all the info you need in there.
