Title: Michelin Super Sport owners - what pressures are you running?
Post by: AJP on March 20, 2016, 10:45:24 pm
I've been experimenting with different pressures recently. Currently 36psi front 33psi rear, over the previous 33/30. I'm going to revert to lower pressures as it's definitely contributing to a slightly crashy ride.

Just got me thinking - what's everyone's preference?

I think 36psi is the favourite.

Are you talking general driving/commuting? Assuming so, then 35/36 F & R seems to work from feedback from most on here  :happy2:

Cheers for the replies.

After trying a few different pressures out I've dropped down to 32 front 30 rear. The car was very crashy at 36/33 on bad roads.

It might be a bit too low at 32/30 but it doesn't feel any more vague than at the higher pressures, just lots more comfortable.

This could point to shocks/bushes/both being tired. I'm on H&R springs on what I assume are the original shocks. I plan on refreshing the bushes and looking at maybe Bilsteins to replace the standard shocks at some point, maybe even coilovers but they'd have to be a good ride.
